Web Development & Platforms

Accessible, fast web applications and internal platforms — built to be maintained by your team, not locked to ours.

In this engagement

  • A working application with responsive layouts, real content and no placeholder lorem ipsum
  • A component and pattern reference your designers and engineers can both use
  • Automated accessibility checks with WCAG 2.2 AA as the acceptance bar
  • Deployment pipelines, environment configuration and operational documentation

Web work fails for predictable reasons: a design system that never got written down, an accessibility standard applied only at the end, or a codebase only one person understands. We design against all three from the first commit.

We build for the team who will maintain it after we leave. That means documented architecture, automated tests at the level that justifies their running cost, and component conventions anyone can pick up without a walkthrough from us.

How engagements start

  • A design and build sprint to validate the riskiest assumption first
  • Fixed-scope builds with fortnightly working-software releases
  • Ongoing iteration and maintenance under a retainer or as a dedicated team

Questions

What clients ask us first

If your question is not here, ask it directly — we would rather answer it before you commit than after.

Do you work with our design team or replace them?

With them, where we have one. We will push back if a design is not buildable to the accessibility or performance bar you need, and explain why. If you have no in-house design capability, we can supply it or work to a system you already own.

What happens to the codebase at handover?

It is yours, in your repository, under your licence, from the first commit. There is no proprietary layer you need us to maintain, and no licence that lapses if you stop working with us.

How do you handle accessibility?

WCAG 2.2 AA is the acceptance criterion, not an aspiration. We build with semantic structure and keyboard operability from the start, then verify with automated checks and manual screen-reader passes before release.
